For years it was the longest bench in Hessen, and is still impressively long today. The length of the cut is probably unique for this Douglas fir trunk, which is exactly 26.42 meters. The weight of the bench is 4 tons. In terms of transport and processing, it is a masterpiece for such a solid piece of wood.
