Properties:
Walking in water refreshes the feet, helps alleviate circulatory problems, and stimulates blood flow.
Your feet should feel warm when you begin wading.
Walk slowly through the cold water using the “stork walk.” After about 30 seconds, you’ll feel a strong sensation of cold in your feet and lower legs—usually after just one lap! Afterward, walk across the meadow to warm your feet.
This process can be repeated several times.
After the water walk, simply shake off the water, put on socks and shoes, and walk briskly until your feet feel warm again.
Away from traffic, the area around the Kneipp facility in Giershagen—with its benches, swing, shelter, fountain, and fire pit—invites you to linger and, especially in the summer, to cool off your feet and legs.
