The “
” Fishing Park Idyllically nestled between the Lenne floodplain and the edge of the forest, the “Sauerländer Anglerglück” fishing park in Lennestadt-Gleierbrück offers 7 ponds with different fish stocks across an area of more than 2 hectares.
In an effort to be both environmentally friendly and in accordance with proper fishing practices, only a portion of the ponds is open for fishing at any given time to allow the fish sufficient time to acclimate.
The fishing park features a separate restroom building, a fish-processing area, a barbecue area, a children’s playground, and a sun terrace. Parking is available directly in front of the grounds. People with disabilities may drive onto the pond grounds for loading and unloading. The fishing park is signposted from the B 236 and easy to find.
The pond complex consists of 7 ponds:
The ponds are stocked with fish from the affiliated Sauerland trout farm, the Rameil family. Our short transport distances from the hatchery to the fishing ponds ensure high-quality fish.
Fish Stocking
The fish stocked here include
- brown trout - pike - carp
- rainbow trout - zander - and many more
- golden trout - catfish
- salmon trout - perch
- brook char - sturgeon
- tench - Eels
come from the neighboring Sauerland trout farm owned by the Rameil family, which was founded in 1901 and is recognized as a disease-free operation in accordance with EC Directive 61/97.
The trout farm’s facilities are located directly across from the “Sauerländer Anglerglück” fishing park. This eliminates the need for long transport distances when stocking the ponds and ensures the fish remain highly vigorous.

The fishable stretch is 2.3 km long. Advance registration is absolutely required! You can register by phone or in writing.
