As a “place where history meets the present,” the two-story, half-timbered gabled house from the 18th century serves as a venue for gatherings of the village community and hosts small-scale cultural events such as exhibitions, puppet shows, and author readings. The geological exhibition provides information about the region’s eventful geological history. Archaeological finds from abandoned villages provide evidence of medieval settlements in the Nuhne River basin.
