The Alpenhaus is situated in a quiet, secluded location above Oberhundem and is considered one of the most rustic huts north of the Alps. This historic hiking lodge is accessible via a well-developed network of hiking trails and serves as an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours in the region. Rustic guest rooms and the natural surroundings make the Alpenhaus a special place for anyone seeking peace and relaxation. The lodge has a long history and was originally built as a Sauerland lodge by the German and Austrian Alpine Clubs.
