An all-round relaxing day awaits you in the spa town of Bad Sassendorf! Discover the wide range of offers around the Börde Therme, the Westphalian salt worlds, the spa park and typical Bad Sassendorf cuisine.
1. Börde Therme
We started our reload moments in Bad Sassendorf with a real eye-catcher. Our first stop at the Börde Therme was the sea salt grotto. Here you can breathe in the healing air of the salts and thus counteract stress, skin and respiratory diseases. You can also feel the effect of the salt in the spacious indoor and outdoor pools, the so-called brine pools. We were able to enjoy other highlights such as the graduation house with its relaxation options, the relaxation room and several great saunas such as the panorama sauna. The Börde Therme is really perfect for anyone who wants to treat themselves to a little time out! Next door you will also find the MediWell, a beauty and wellness area where you can enjoy various treatments and massages.

2. graduation house
As mentioned, the graduation house in Bad Sassendorf is integrated into the thermal baths, but is also accessible to the public from the spa gardens. It invites you to take a deep breath and explore and is characterized by its unique architecture. The graduation house and the surrounding spa park also offer a variety of courses all year round. For example, you can experience mindfulness walks, Qi Gong and yoga at the graduation house with coaches and trainers.
3. spa gardens
Within walking distance, it is now worth visiting the idyllic nature in the spa gardens. Past small ponds, a barefoot path and many other attractions, we were able to switch off here and enjoy the peace and quiet! The rhododendrons and roses are particularly worth seeing in spring and summer when they are in bloom.

4th Westphalian Salt Worlds
The next item on our reload day program was the Westphalian Salt Worlds. The first thing we did here was to fortify ourselves with a coffee in the site's own café before being guided through the interactive and super interesting exhibition. We learned exciting things about salt, brine and crystals. We were then allowed to make our own exfoliating salt together with Isabel. We were allowed to decide on the smell and color ourselves. An all-round successful experience for all the senses!
5th restaurant tip: Café Brunnenhaus
At Café Brunnenhaus, we reviewed the Reload day once again. We had a traditional pancake. The typical dish is served here in a cozy atmosphere with many different and sometimes exotic toppings. For those who prefer something sweet: the selection of different cakes is also inviting!
