The Sauerland will once again be presenting itself to holidaymakers from southern Germany this year. From January 17 to 19, "Germany's inspiring outdoor region" will be represented at the renowned Caravan Motor Touristik (CMT) trade fair in Stuttgart. Under the motto "Discover. Experience. Breathe deeply." Sauerland Tourism invites trade fair visitors to discover the region's diverse leisure and vacation opportunities.

The focus of the trade fair presentation is on the numerous cycling and hiking offers that make the Sauerland one of the most attractive active regions in North Rhine-Westphalia. Whether on the certified quality hiking trails of the Sauerland-Wanderdorf, on varied mountain bike trails and in bike parks or on relaxed river and railroad cycle paths for families - the Sauerland offers the right nature and exercise experience for every target group.

"The Sauerland impresses with an exceptionally wide range of outdoor activities, excursion destinations and experiences close to nature," explains Robin Daniel, marketing employee at Sauerland Tourism. "At CMT, we want to show how inspiring and varied a stay in our region can be - characterized by impressive scenery, high quality offers and genuine hospitality."

In addition to the classic outdoor themes, the focus will also be on current leisure and vacation trends, including nature-oriented caravanning, sustainable travel and offers relating to relaxation and wellbeing. A competent team will be on hand at the trade fair stand to provide individual tips for vacation planning and present the highlights of the region.

CMT in Stuttgart is one of the world's largest trade fairs for leisure and tourism and attracts several hundred thousand visitors every year. It therefore offers an ideal platform to present the Sauerland as a versatile and modern vacation destination. Sauerland Tourism can be found in Hall 9, Stand B54. The "Green Trails" will also be on site and will be providing information about Europe's largest mountain bike trail project in Hall 9, Stand B58.
